Candy Cane Lane - West Frankfort, Illinois

I wish that I could have made it to Candy Cane Lane in West Frankfort, Illinois, sooner this year. I was able to get some really cool photos of most of the displays, and the main street that you take to get to Candy Cane Lane was beautifully decorated as well.

This is a very popular display, so expect to wait in line for a while. It is well worth the wait, so turn on some Christmas music and enjoy the time with your loved ones while waiting in line. This is a drive thru display (follow the candy canes), and you will see everything from super heroes to smurfs to ninja turtles to Disney princesses to Sesame Street characters to Scooby Doo and the mystery machine. You name it, you will find it on Candy Cane Lane! I have no idea how long it takes for these houses to be decked out in all of their Christmas glory, but I know that it has to take quite some time. This is something that is well planned and done for all to enjoy. The magical light display on Candy Cane Lane in West Frankfort, Illinois, will be open through New Years Eve. If you want to be amazed at what a neighborhood can do with Christmas decorations, do not miss Candy Cane Lane!

They do have a donation box at the end of the display. If you can, donate some money to help this magical Christmas tradition continue. I think this is my second or third year visiting Candy Cane Lane in West Frankfort, Illinois, and I look forward to coming back next year. This is something that you have to see for yourself!
