Lebanon’s Winter Wonderland

Lebanon is one of my favorite Christmas towns. It looks like a Hallmark movie. Most of the stores decorate, they have a little spot on the corner of the main streets where you can buy a Christmas Tree, they have a giant Christmas Tree and an adorable little gazebo in a small courtyard area. It is all of the Christmas joy one could ask for in a few short blocks. The light display is drive through and usually has a really cool light show. Due to Covid this year, they could not do the light show, but the display is as beautiful as ever. They also have a radio station that plays Christmas music as you make your way through the display. Turn your radio to 90.5 for some of your favorite Christmas hits.

creepy fun fact: I happened to capture a creepy alien/ghost thing in one of my photos last year. I’ll add a picture below, along with the photos I took on Friday night when my boyfriend and I went to check out the light display and the rest of the Christmas joy in Lebanon.

Lebanon is one of those places I always have to visit around the holidays. It is a beautiful historic town with lots of charm.

I plan on doing as many of these posts about the best light displays and towns that are all decked out in Christmas cheer as possible. I love Christmas and I want to bring the feeling of Christmas to those who don’t want to get out at all this year. I make every attempt to be as safe as possible while I’m out taking photos. If you live in/around Southern Illinois and you have any towns or light displays to recommend, please comment down below!

This is the creepy alien/ghost thing I captured last year. I have no clue what it is.
